(Our Tech Blog) The existence of intelligent beings other than humans in the universe - or aliens - is still a semi-fairy tale discourse. There has been no valid proof of their existence. However, a leading Russian astronomers believe, humans will encounter an alien civilization in the relatively near future. Next two decades.

"The origin of life is inevitable as the formation of atoms ... there is life on other planets as well. We will find it within 20 years," said Andrei Finkelstein, director of the Russian Academy of Sciences, as the site loaded Guardian.

Speaking in an international forum dedicated to the search for life ekstraterresterial, Finkelstein said, is known to 10 percent of all known planets, revolved around the sun in the galaxy - just like Earth. He added, if the water could be found, then surely there is life on the planet.

What kind of aliens in the shadow of Finkelstein? He said, most likely similar to humans: two hands, two legs, and head. "The color of their skin may be different, yet people do so too," he said.

The institute, which is run Finkelstein run the program to monitor and transmit radio signals into space. This program was launched in the 1960s, at the peak of the cold war that spreads to the exploration of space competition. "The whole time we have been searching for extraterrestrial civilizations. We were always waiting for messages from space," he said.

Finkelstein strengthened the argument of many scientists. One of them, in March, a NASA scientist sparked controversy because it claims to have found fossils of tiny insect-like alien in the meteorite landed on Earth.

Is Richard Hoover, an astrobiologist at Marshall space flight center in Alabama that says, filaments and structure of meteorites contain microscopic fossils that resemble alien algae, known as cyanobacteria.

In Journal of Cosmology, Hoove writing, that the lack of nitrogen in the sample - an essential element for life on Earth - indicate that they are "remnants of extraterrestrial life forms that come from the meteorite parent body containing water - before space rock that enters Earth's atmosphere.

Problem existence of aliens is also mentioned by Charles Liu, a professor of astrophysics from the City University of New York's Staten Island and researchers from the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History.

Do aliens really exist? "Yes. The universe is so vast and the laws of nature apply very consistent across the vast space," Liu said, as quoted from Space, June 28, 2011. "It is likely that there is only one life to flourish in the entire universe is almost zero," he said.

Liu said, if there is life that can grow in one place, certainly there are similar life elsewhere. The next question, whether extraterrestrials exist?

"Yes. But if the creature has landed on Earth? The answer is no," said Liu. "None of that is touted as evidence of the appearance of aliens on Earth contains water after tested scientifically," he said. VivaNews
