Galaxy Tab 10.1 finally blocked!

(Our Tech Blog) Apple again scored an important victory in its legal suit against Samsung. The initial decision in the German court banned Samsung sold 10.1 tablet Galaxy Tab across the European Union except the Netherlands.

Apple spokeswoman Kristin Huguet confirmed that the district court in Dusseldorf, Germany, issued a decision in force in the European Union. With the exception of the Netherlands because Apple filed a separate lawsuit in there. But Samsung could still appeal the decision of the German courts.

Previously, Samsung also had to postpone the sale of Galaxy Tab 10.1 Australia for the same reason. Apple is also currently trying to block the sale of Galaxy Tab 10.1 in United States.

As we all know, quoted from detikINET, Apple sued Samsung in April 2011 with accusations of South Korean vendors are outright mimic Apple's product design. Especially in this line of mobile phones Galaxy and tablet Galaxy.

Galaxy 10.1 not so long marketed in some European regions, for example in Britain where this tablet to be a best seller. Samsung is a smartphone vendor with the highest sales growth and emerged as the strongest competitor Apple.

"Samsung is one of the few vendors in the world with the ability to succeed in the marketplace tablets and smartphones. But if Samsung's proven to violate Apple's intellectual property, we believe Apple will continue to enjoy great success in that market," said Florian Mueller, an expert on patents quoted by Reuters on Wednesday (08/10/2011).
